SBA Paycheck Protection Program

As a Small Business Administration (SBA) lender we are working with current and new business customers to help equip them with the tools needed to stay in business during these unforeseen times. The SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is available to small businesses that have been affected by COVID-19 and have less than 500 employees or meets the SBA industry size standard. This special program offers the opportunity for the loan to be fully forgiven if the funds are used for specific expenses that are tied to keeping your business operating, including; payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent and utilities. COVID-19 Hardship Consumer Loan Special

As everyone continues to navigate through these difficult times, Union Bank wants to assure you that as your financial partner we are here to help. For those in our communities that are experiencing a financial hardship due to COVID-19, please know that you have options. We are currently offering a personal loan special to those that have been laid-off of work, or have had a reduction income or work hours due to COVID-19.
Hardship Loan Special:
  • 0% interest for the first four months, fixed rate of 4.748% APR* for the remainder of the loan
  • Finance options up to 48 months
  • No processing fee
Minimum Qualifications: FICO score of 680 or higher. Borrower must have a loss in income due to COVID-19 event. Borrowers debt-to-income can not exceed 50%

Mortgage/Consumer Loans

If you have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, you might qualify for up-to a 90 day deferral for your loan payment with no credit bureau impact or late fees assessed. Please contact us at 800-974-3273 to see if you qualify. 

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) have launched the new mortgage and housing assistance website to ensure homeowners and renters have the most up to date and accurate housing assistance information during the COVID-19 pandemic.   If you're concerned about how to pay your mortgage or rent, go to the CFPB website for information on what to do now, and what your options are for mortgage and rent payment relief.

Business Loans

Businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic might also qualify for up-to a 90 day deferral for loan payments. Please contact your business loan officer or one of your customer service representatives at 800-974-3273. 


Digital/Electronic Banking

Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety and well-being of Union Bank customers and staff, all Union Bank branch lobbies will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020 to walk-in customers.  We will continue to offer drive-thru services as well as ATM access, virtual banking and other options.

Rest assured that the Union Bank is fully operational and positioned to assist with our customers’ banking needs.  Customers who need to meet with a member of our staff, such as debit card issuance, business customers in need of large cash orders, or those who need access to their safe deposit box should contact our customer service center and an appointment can be scheduled.

The Governor is asking that we exercise social distance and with the many services the bank has to offer, you can protect yourself and your family by performing your transactions in the comfort of your own home.  Our electronic services are available 24/7 through Union Bank’s online and mobile banking platforms. 

The bank also has a very unique service called “Virtual Branch”.  Virtual Branch is an app that can be downloaded and will allow you to talk directly with a member of our Virtual Branch team.  These are Union Bank employees who can help with services such as wire transfers, stop payments, opening accounts, making changes to existing accounts, ordering checks or debit cards as well as many other services.  All of this is available without leaving your home.
