Net Express Online Banking Questions
Net Express/eStatements General Information
Net Express online banking is free for all personal checking and savings accounts and business accounts without bill pay. You can sign up at any of the Union Bank branches or online at(insert link). This offers you the convenience of banking from home or anywhere you have internet access. You can pay bills, transfer funds, view deposits or cleared checks and more. E-statements are an electronic statement that you get right to your internet banking, no more waiting for the mail to come.
Reset my password for Net Express?
You can reset your Net Express password online at ubmich.com at the sign in page. Just click “reset password”. In order for this online reset to work, you must have security questions set up in advance. If the online reset does not work, simply call us at 1-800-974-3273.
Set up a recurring payment on Bill Pay?
After you have set up your payee, select New Payment and then just under that link select Add Payment. On the Add Payment screen, you can select Frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly etc.) to set up recurrence as long as the payment amount is the same each time.
Cancel my debit card because my wallet was stolen?
Contact Union Bank immediately at 1-800-974-3273 so that we can cancel your card and reduce possible fraudulent spending. After banking hours you may call 866-546-8273 to have your card cancelled.
ATM/Debit card pin numbers can be reset at any branch office. You may also stop by any one of our ATM’s and change your pin number using the on screen menu prompts. If you need help just stop in or give us a call. We’ll be glad to help you.
Dime a Time Debit Card Reward Program
Your UB debit card can make purchases in two different ways: as a credit card transaction authorized by your signature or an ATM transaction authorized by your PIN. As a UB customer, the smart way is to say “Credit”. First, credit transactions are run through the MasterCard network and you enjoy their limited fraud protections. Second, you don’t have to worry about forgetting your PIN number. Third, and most importantly, Union Bank will now pay you 10 cents for every credit, or signature-based, transaction with your debit card ($10 minimum purchase).
ATM/Debit Cards – General Information
Debit cards have a two year life span with a new card issuing month before the card expires. Debit cards are only available for checking accounts. Savings accounts can be issued an ATM card, which only allows use at ATM’s or retailers with PIN pad access. Youth accounts are not allowed to have an ATM or debit card.
Daily limits on my Debit Card?
$500 on cash withdrawals, $1,000 on Point of Sales (POS) withdrawals, and $1,500 on Debit Card purchases.
My account balance that I received from the ATM is different from what the bank says I have?
Balances received from the ATM will not include any transactions that are taking place on your account today.

An official stop payment requires your in-person signature. Call us at 1-800-974-3273 to start the process or fill out the Contact Us (LINK) form online and we will follow up with you.

Instructions to receive a Wire Transfer in your Union Bank account.
To receive an incoming domestic wire transfer, you will need to provide Union Bank’s routing number – 072404320 and your checking or savings account number to the originator of the wire transfer. To receive an international wire transfer, it must be routed through our international correspondent bank. The wire must first be sent to Comerica Bank, SWIFT Code MNBDUS33. The credit account is Union Bank, account number 1840000200. Final Credit is the customer’s name and Union Bank checking or savings account number.
Bank Statements – when do they arrive/how do I obtain?
Paper statements for personal accounts are printed on or around the 10th of the month. You receive these in the mail. If you have e-statements the statement is available on the 10th with an email notification to let you know the statement is available. If you would like to enroll for eStatements you must first use Net Express online banking, then use the eDocs tab to enroll online. The first month you will receive both a paper and electronic statement and then the paper statement will be discontinued.
Visa Gift Card General Information
The Visa gift card is a prepaid card that can be used at retail establishments where Visa is accepted. It is processed under the Visa system as a credit card. A gift card costs $5.00 to purchase. The minimum load amount is $25.00 with a maximum amount of $1,000. They can be purchased at any Union Bank branch locations.
Money Orders/Cashiers’ Checks General Information
Money orders and cashiers’ checks are an optional payment method versus using cash or personal check. Money orders can be purchased for $4.00 and can be funded up to $1,000.00. Cashier checks can be purchased for $5.00 and do not have a maximum or minimum amount. Either can be purchased at any Union Bank Location. These do require collected funds in order to purchase them.
Loan Related Questions
Draw off my line of credit?
You may call your commercial loan officer or mortgage officer to ask for a draw off your commercial or home equity line, or you may conduct a Transfer on your Net Express online banking account from the line to a deposit account. In order to conduct an online transfer your loan officer must first approve that your commercial line of credit or home equity line may be accessed online.
Pull my free credit report?
Make a Loan Payment Online
If you have a deposit account at Union Bank and you are enrolled in Net Express Online Banking, simply do a Transfer from your deposit account to your loan to make a payment. If you do not have a deposit account, you can make an online payment here and we will debit your checking or savings account at another institution.
