Getting Started
To open an account online, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be a legal resident of the United States
- Reside in one of the following states: Michigan, Illinois or Ohio
- Be at least 18 years of age
The online account application process is secure, user-friendly and generally requires approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Existing Union Bank Customers
Please log in to the Digital Banking Suite and select the ellipsis (…) followed by “Add an Account”, OR select Accounts from the menu on the left and then choose “Open an Account.”
Required Information
- Social Security Number
- Valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, or passport)
Funding Requirements
- If funding from an existing Union Bank account: Log in to the Digital Banking Suite.
- If funding from another financial institution: Provide the account number and routing number.
