Union Bank Announces Recent Promotions

Grand Rapids, Michigan – June 6, 2025 – Union Bank is thrilled to announce the recent promotions of Jennifer Henry, Scott Hilgendorf, Russell Wigent and Rose Willson.

Jennifer Henry has been promoted to Senior Loan Operations Specialist. Henry joined the Bank in September 2012 and has been a valuable member of the Loan Operations team. In addition to her current responsibilities as a Loan Processor, she will also begin assisting with Consumer and Mortgage Underwriting functions.

Scott Hilgendorf has been promoted to Credit Analyst II. Since joining the Bank in May 2023, Hilgendorf has quickly become a key contributor, bringing strong analytical skills and a commitment to excellence. In his new role, he will continue to support the credit analysis process and contribute to the Bank’s overall success.

Russell Wigent has been promoted to Senior Credit Analyst. Since joining Union Bank in June 2024, he has played a key role in evaluating credit requests and preparing underwriting for complex loans. In his new role, he will continue to support lending decisions through financial analysis and industry research, while also mentoring Junior Credit Analysts and contributing to Credit Administration projects.

Rose Willson has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Marketing Manager. She joined the Bank in May 2020 and has played a vital role in shaping marketing and community engagement efforts. In her new role, she will lead the Bank’s marketing strategy, with a focus on brand management, customer engagement and community outreach aligned with the Bank’s core values.
