Union Bank Welcomes Rich McDermott as Vice President, Commercial Banker

Grand Rapids, Michigan – May 14, 2024 - Union Bank is thrilled to announce the addition of Rich McDermott, Vice President, Commercial Banker. In his new role, McDermott will work alongside the Bank’s financial center management, commercial and customer service teams as well as additional stakeholders to build strong relationships and optimize the customer experience by creating financial solutions to equip the makers, builders and growers of West and Central Michigan for success.

McDermott joins the Bank with over 21 years of invaluable experience in the banking and financial sector of West Michigan. His seasoned leadership and wealth of experience translate into a personalized and insightful approach to addressing each customers’ financial needs. With a keen understanding of banking operations, financial analysis, and client relationship management, McDermott is uniquely positioned to provide tailored solutions.

McDermott will be based at the Banks’ Loan Production Office located at 515 East Centre Avenue in Portage, Michigan.
