Union Bank Welcomes Thomas Etcher as Vice President, Commercial Banker

Grand Rapids, Michigan – June 3, 2024 - Union Bank is thrilled to announce the addition of Thomas (Tom) Etcher as Vice President, Commercial Banker. In his new role, Etcher will work alongside the Bank’s financial center management, commercial and customer service teams, as well as additional stakeholders, to build strong relationships and optimize the customer experience. He will focus on creating financial solutions to equip the makers, builders and growers of West and Central Michigan for success.

 

Etcher joins the Bank with over 25 years of invaluable relationship management and sales experience, including 19 years in the banking and financial sector of West Michigan. As an accomplished sales and financial services professional, Etcher is renowned for his exceptional customer service, deep technical understanding of complex products, and ability to explain these features clearly and concisely. His proven ability to enhance customer relations and drive growth aligns perfectly with the Bank’s commitment to providing real solutions to real problems, listening with local knowledge, and consulting with common sense.

 

Etcher will be based at the Banks’ Corporate Office located at 670 Cascade W Parkway SE in Grand Rapids.
